What do Midnight Integrated Systems do...

Midnight specialise in supplying, installing & aesthetically integrating audio-visual, communications, lighting control and security systems into residential and commercial properties. We work directly with developers, contractors, interior designers, architects and residents/end-users. We work in single residential properties, residential developments (apartments & houses), commercial and government buildings.

One typical MiS project, a high end apartment block, would include the supply of intruder alarms, Lutron lighting control and a media pre-wire in each apartment plus the provision of communal systems for the complete building – CCTV, access control, video door entry and TV/satellite distribution.

Another project, e.g. a school, would include the provision of CCTV, intruder alarm, access control, door entry, gates, public address, ICT infrastructure, disabled toilet and refuge systems.

Midnight employs technically skilled and experienced engineers across the wide range of products and systems that we supply. As well as providing current systems, we monitor the evolving technologies and look to install the latest of all systems when we are convinced they are ready for market.

We are NACOSS Gold approved for security systems – intruder, CCTV & access control and are members of CEDIA, the trade organisation for integrated electronic systems.

Design & Consultation

Professional Design & consultation on all of our systems listed below using CAD (computer aided design). We can also demo the system equipment either locally or by booking an appointment at a show house.

Structure Cabling

This is installed as part of the infrastructure of a building. It supplies the systems with an appropriate means of connectivity & ultimately providing the user with reliable control. We provide design services, fully managed installations & commissioning as part of a new build, refurbishment, or a retro –fit (where re-wiring is not an option). We are focused on not only meeting the level of technology today but also for the future. We design and install cabling that can be both scalable and “future proof”!

Intruder Security Alarm

We supply, install & maintain full security systems which are graded & certified to the approved security regulating body NACCOSS for monitoring & police response services. Detection devices range from break glass detectors, internal & external movement detectors, door monitoring contacts, panic buttons, pressure & movement sensors in order to secure the building and high value items such as works of art, etc.

Door Entry

Entry systems that allow a visitor to call the occupant, or receptionist inside the building, using voice and video. We can integrate this into a fully automated system, as well as providing remote monitoring via mobile device such as a PC or Mobile phone.

Access Control

Entrances & exits, doorways & gates can be not only be automatically controlled, but also monitored on a user-by-user basis for security purposes. Access can be granted by a key ring sized fob, input code, or biometrically via a finger print, or iris scanner.

CCTV

A Closed Circuit Television System. Camera & recording facility is implemented via a typical coax cabling system, or newer IP systems. Camera’s range in design & specification to suit the correct environment and can be either fixed, or mechanically controlled remotely, for day or night use.

Communications

We provide IT data networks, telephone & video conferencing systems allowing the user to communicate on a number of different levels.

Lighting Control

Automated & energy efficient lighting control systems allow the user full control over any connected lighting circuit throughout their environment. It is both smart & intelligent and can save energy by working in tandem with an automated curtain/ blind system, movement detection sensors and an astronomical clock, as well as integrating with the new energy efficiency compliance LED and CFL type 'bulbs'. We can also provide wireless retro-fit systems, which integrate into existing properties where rewiring is not an option.

TV Satellite

TV satellite distributions systems are the back bone to receiving quality audio & video pictures. These can be from free-to-air channels, or subscription providers in the UK – such as SKY, Virgin media or satellite services from around the world e.g. Russian, Arabic, Israel, etc.

Audio Visual Systems

From single entertainment room’s, to multi-room music & high definition video, or dedicated cinema’s & entertainment area’s. These are often feed by a centrally installed distribution system. Central equipment often consist of the video & audio sources and can range from IPOD/ IPAD docking stations, Music & Movie servers, Free-sat, or SKY High definition satellite receivers, High definition 3D Blu-ray DVD players, FM/DAB radio tuners, Personal Computers. Control

By integrating & connecting these systems it allows the user control by a single interface such as in-wall keypads, touch panel’s, hand-held remote controls, or remotely by a mobile device such as a phone or PC. This way one interface is used instead of many to control for example – lighting, heating & cooling, automated blinds & curtains, music, Televisions, door/ gate entry, viewing CCTV, activating, setting or un-setting a security intruder alarm & providing feed back for energy monitoring. All systems can be controlled independently and switched off at once for example when either going to bed, or leaving the property on a vacation.
